WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Admission is open to any qualified applicant. No qualified person may be excluded from enrollment into the Heartland Dental Assisting training program based on age, race, gender, disability, or national origin.
1. Provide proof of being at least 18 years old or older
2. Shadow in our office
3. Complete enrollment agreement
4. Make arrangements to pay the tuition before starting
Tuition for the school is $3,500 to be paid in full prior to the first day of class, or split into two payments of $1,750 with the first payment due prior to the first day of class and the second payment due halfway through the program at the 5 week mark. Payment can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or by using our financing options (see below).

Since our program is not 1 year or longer in length, Heartland Dental Assisting does not participate in any federal or state financial aid programs, meaning we are not a Qualified Tuition Program (QTP), thus are not required to provide a 1098-T Tuition Statement Form.
Transfer or Granting of Credit
No life experience or previous education and training apply to Heartland Dental Assisting training programs. Students may not transfer in any previous education or training to apply to HDA training programs nor can students transfer credits to another institution from here.
Books and Learning Materials
Textbooks are provided for the duration of the program. There will be textbooks available for reference & to make photo copies of as needed. All other learning materials are included in the tuition fee except for attire (see below). All consumable supplies are provided.
Scrubs, lab coats and protective eyewear are NOT provided. Students are expected to wear approved scrubs everyday while in the office. Tennis shoes are to be clean, not soiled or worn out. Hair needs to be clean, pulled back, off the shoulders, and out of the face. Clean face, subtle makeup, and fingernails should be short and clean with minimal nail polish. Changes Made by School
If the school closes or cancels or changes a program of study or location in such a way that the student who has started is unable to complete training, arrangements will be made in a timely manner to accommodate the needs of each student enrolled in the program who is affected by the cancellation or change. If the school is unable to make alternative arrangements that are satisfactory to the student, the school will refund all money paid by the student for the program.
